Our outpatient ultrasound service examines your pet’s internal organs, helping diagnose conditions like pancreatitis, enlarged organs, stones, masses, and intestinal problems. Highly-trained and qualified sonographers perform the ultrasound studies, and a board-certified veterinary radiologist or boarded specialist interprets the results within 24 hours. Ultrasound of the abdomen is an outpatient service only and does not establish a patient-doctor relationship at Partner Veterinary.
Cost and Process:
- Fee: $750 (includes comprehensive scan and radiologist interpretation)
- Additional costs may apply for sedation if needed
- STAT readings available for extra fee
Preparing Your Pet:
- Fast adult pets for 12 hours before the exam
- Pets under 6 months: fast for 6 hours
- Drop-off time: 10am (specific appointment times available upon request)
