Alicia Sorum, DVM

Dr. Alicia Sorum graduated with her DVM with high honors from Ross University, and clinical training at the University of Minnesota. A lifelong avid horse lover, Dr. Sorum started a racetrack equine practice with her veterinarian husband in 2009. After years of constant traveling from Arizona to Minnesota to Maryland, Dr. Sorum began working at a small animal ER hospital in 2017, finding a true passion for emergency care and surgery.

Deciding to move closer to family brought Dr. Sorum to Richmond and to Partner. This move has provided Dr. Sorum the opportunity to work with top specialists, provide incredible levels of critical care to pets, and perform lifesaving surgeries overnight. When not at Partner, Dr. Sorum loves running, spending time with her three amazing kids, and her six cats!
