Charla McKoy, DVM

Originally from North Carolina, Dr. McKoy earned her Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Animal Science from North Carolina A&T State University. She continued her education at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional journey began in Pittsburgh, PA, where she spent three years practicing emergency veterinary medicine. Dr. McKoy later relocated to the DMV area, where she has continued her passion for emergency and critical care.

Dr. McKoy has been a proud member of the Partner team since the opening of PVESC in 2023—a decision she says has truly enriched her life. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her kitty, Nix, as well as reading, going to the gym, and watching movies.
