Chelsea Grainger, DVM

Originally from Maryland, Dr. Grainger received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and graduated from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, she completed a small animal rotating internship at the VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center in Fishers, Indiana. She then returned to the east coast and worked as a relief veterinarian, filling in for general practice and emergency vets at various practices in Maryland and Virginia. Dr. Grainger also has a special interest in orthopedics and rehabilitation, and obtained her Certification for Canine Rehabilitation Therapy in 2023. After making the move back to Virginia, Dr. Grainger joined the Partner Family as a full-time emergency doctor.

Outside of work, Dr. Grainger enjoys being outdoors with her dogs and horses, mud runs, camping, and traveling abroad.
