Hospital Steward

Julie began her veterinary career as a Registered Veterinary Technician in emergency and specialty practice before moving into leadership roles focused on expanding access to high-quality care and building strong teams. In 2009, she opened the Veterinary Clinic at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region in Colorado and later became Director of Veterinary Medicine, leading the organization to achieve American Animal Hospital Association accreditation and expand community services, including a mobile clinic for underserved areas. She now serves as Hospital Steward at Partner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center in Frederick, MD. Outside of work, she enjoys family time with her husband and two children, outdoor adventures, and their two rescue dogs.
