Taryn Powell, LVT, RVT, CPEP

Taryn Powell is a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Partner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center in Henrico, Virginia, with 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine specializing in emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and cardiology. In her current role, she provides advanced nursing care for critically ill patients while also serving as a team advocate, supporting staff communication, onboarding, and conflict resolution to foster a positive work culture. She is currently pursuing a Veterinary Technician Specialty in Cardiology and a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology.

Passionate about client education and compassionate care, Taryn is especially dedicated to guiding families through complex disease processes and thoughtful end-of-life discussions, as well as mentoring veterinary technician students and new team members. She holds additional certifications as a Pet Loss Bereavement Specialist, Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Professional, and Fear Free Certified Professional, along with current BLS and ALS certifications.
