About the Role: We are seeking a second full or part time oncologist for our Frederick, Maryland hospital.  We are looking for individuals who are interested in collaborating with the entire hospital team and desire to take an active role in shaping the internal medicine department and practice in a sustainable, engaging way.

As our second full or part-time oncologist in Frederick, you’ll:

  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans for cancer patients.
  • Engage in compassionate conversations with clients about the best treatment options.
  • Collaborate with our Emergency, Critical Care, Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, and Cardiology teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Requirements:

  • DVM degree from an accredited university
  • Board-certified or residency-trained in internal medicine
  • Licensure in Virginia and/or Maryland
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Commitment to high standards of care and veterinary ethics
  • Clinical experience in emergency medicine or general practice, or completion of a rotating or specialty internship
  • Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
  • Support for new graduates passionate about professional development.
