In addition, Partner Veterinary has a dedicated Learning and Development Department, to help credentialed technicians achieve your goals, supported by three veterinary technician specialists (VTS) Heather Carter and Christine Weaver and Kelly Cronin. Our Training Department has an impressive track record of helping Technicians achieve advanced certifications such as a VTS, CVPP, and/or CVRP.
To set you up for success from day 1,
- We gift you a *wellness week of PTO after 90 days in your position. This includes 30-40 hours of extra time off dependent upon your weekly schedule. Partner Veterinary recognizes the demand that is on LVTs, and this wellness week allows you to rest and relax with a week off after your initial 90 days.
What does your day look like at Partner?
The PVESC ER/UC Registered Veterinary Technician’s emphasis is on day-to-day patient care, sedation, and anesthetic/procedural workflows. You will work with unique and varied cases, and you have the resources to enable optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year veterinary technician experience
- Veterinary ER or Urgent Care experience is preferred, but not required
- Credentialed Technician “in good standing” in your current state and eligible to transfer registration to Maryland
- Knowledge and dedication to high standard anesthesia and patient care practices
- A curious and motivated energy
- Interest in collaborating with the teams across the Partner network
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to quickly process, analyze, and react to unplanned and emergent medical situations without delay, so as to ensure the safety of team members and patients
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours with limited breaks
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance
