What does your day look like at Partner?

As a Team Advocate, you will enable conversation, communication, and coordination among hospital team members as well as pet families. The Team Advocate leverages strong communication, collaboration, and planning skills to ensure the team is supported and our pet families have a voice. You will support the team by directing appointments, managing the day, and maintaining team engagement and a positive supportive work environment.

Leading the Neurology team, the emphasis is on day-to-day specialized patient care, and surgical workflows while maintaining optimal patient outcomes. The RVTs in the neurology department are integral to advanced imaging (MRI & CT) and elecrodiagnostics (electroencephalograms and electromyography).

You will also refine your skills by learning anesthesia for craniotomies and imaging while mastering arterial catheter placement.

You will practice sought after technical skills with all of the necessary resources to enable optimal patient outcomes, while regularly collaborating with other hospital departments.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years’ veterinary experience with a focus on team dynamics and day to day workflows
  • Registered Veterinary Technician, preferred
  • A minimum of one year Neurology experience

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to quickly process, analyze, and react to unplanned and emergent medical situations without delay, so as to ensure the safety of team members and patients
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours with limited breaks
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance

$26-$44 per hour
