EMERGENCY & SPECIALTY POSITIONS
Veterinary Radiologist – Full Time – Richmond, VA
Veterinary Radiologist – Full Time – Richmond, VA
No Non Compete, Option for Hybrid Onsite and Remote Position
Partner Veterinary is opening an Urgent Care in April 2022. The role of radiologist can be a hybrid position, with onsite duties expected with the flexibility to work some shifts remotely as well. Starting in the urgent care, the radiologist will work two days a week onsite, performing, and interpreting studies, and two days interpreting studies for the hospital remotely. Once open later this year (2022), Partner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center (PVESC) will work in tandem with Partner Veterinary Urgent Care (PVUC). Once PVESC is open, the radiologist’s schedule may remain hybrid, if preferred, but the onsite shifts will be scheduled primarily in the emergency and specialty hospital.
As a radiologist, you will interpret radiographs obtained at both our urgent care and emergency and specialty hospital, establish CT and c-arm fluoroscopy protocols for our ER and specialty hospital, and interpret fluoroscopy and CT studies. Our preference is to have a radiologist willing to perform ultrasounds onsite at one or both Partner facilities, but we can discuss this further if candidates prefer telehealth exclusively. Partner Veterinary ER and Specialty Hospital will have MRI on-site, as well, so there would be the opportunity to help interpret MRIs if interested.
We are seeking an individual who supports and prioritizes patient care, self-care, and community-care, as these do not have to be mutually exclusive. As a Partner Veterinary radiologist, you must be enthusiastically committed to collaboration with the emergency service and other specialty departments.

Partner Veterinary Neurologists will help to develop workflows that help to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of these inter-departmental transfers. This allows neurologists the opportunity to educate the ER (and other services as needed) on best practices for the emergent case management of neuro patients with a combination of guidelines, protocols, and open dialogue.
